About
Tina’s love of fiber art started in early childhood growing up in Pennsylvania. She was mentored, influenced and taught by her Aunt, an accomplished fabric artist. Coming of age in rural Pennsylvania she was surrounded by Americana folk artists, Eastern European immigrants as well as a large Amish community which opened her eyes to an extremely rich varied history of hand arts. Her unique sense of color choice and embrace of the wabi-sabi aesthetic demonstrates itself best in her wall hangings. She lives and creates in Los Angeles.
